A lot to celebrate about this year of anime, many have come and many will stay embedded in our hearts as the best. We've included the best anime series, sequels and movies, so without further a do, here's our list of the Best Anime of 2018! 

We have listed down our top anime per season and special wildcard entry to consider among the best of the best. So, let's begin our list with the Best Anime in Winter 2018:

Winter 2018
Winter of 2018 began with a great start! Along with the much awaited anime comebacks comes with highly anticipated anime as well. Let's start the countdown right with these anime series:

Sequel: Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen
After years of waiting the sequel is here

Honorable Mention: Yuru Camp
Who would not want to watch cute girls doing cute things in a setting of a relaxing nature trip?

5. Pop Team Epic
Name a more iconic duo, I dare you! I double dare you!

4. Darling in the FranXX
From the moment Zero Two appeared in our screen, we knew this is destiny!

3. Devilman: Crybaby
How can something so gore be this beautiful? Devilman Crybaby is hauntingly beautiful.

2. Sora yori mo Tooi Basho
Your story isn't great, if your friends are not there to see it! A heartwarming adventure of finding oneself with a great company of friends.

1. Violet Evergarden 
"I want to know what love is." Violet definitely showed us that.

Movie: Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou
A story of irreplaceable time that is beyond compare.

Spring 2018
Spring has opened doors to anime comebacks and sequels but the new-comers cannot be left unnoticed:

From mad scientist to sad scientist, of course, Steins;Gate never failed us.

Honorable Mention: Akkun to Kanojo
Short but sweet, just the daily lives of two adorable high school couple.

5. Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai
SPOILER: Tada-kun falls in love

4. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
If you're looking for adult office romance with a heartfelt love for anime and games, this is the series that is perfect for you.

3. Persona 5
Yes, we know. It is another Persona game adaptation! But you may have a 'change of heart' once you give this one a try.

2. Hinamatsuri
There's so many things going on with the plot of this anime but if you we would describe it in one word, that is FAMILY.

1. Megalo Box
Never underestimate an underdog because they bite!

Summer 2018
This could probably be our least favorite season of 2018 but nevertheless, there are still some notable best for this season:

Sequel: Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3
A comeback that we did not want but need!

Honorable Mention: Grand Blue
College life is definitely different from high school

5. Hanebado!
Even the greatest have their own struggles and the best falls down sometimes.

4. Asobi Asobase
Hilarious trio that you want to be-friend with!

3. Hataraku Saibou
When all the answers you've been looking for is right inside you all along.

2. Banana Fish
A beautiful monster can be tamed

1. Sirius the Jaeger
Engage in a battle between vampires upholds a mystery of an arc that is yet to be solved

Movie: Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai
This is not a horror movie, it is a soul-wrenching movie that would keep you awake for days, so yes, it's a horror movie, pretty much.

Fall 2018
Waifus, waifus everywhere. 

Sequel: Sword Art Online: Alicization
Hype is real!

Honorable Mention: Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara
Your boring everyday life would be rose-colored from today on

5. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Not you average isekai anime

As careful and beautiful is the art of archery comes an equally beautiful execution from Kyoto animation, again.

3. Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru  
This is not just about the dorm, the club or the race, it is about friendship and a test of oneself.
